Virtual Improv Party – Tragic Tales of the Dreaded Gallery Diary

by

in ,

Once the people had spoken, the narrative format of Hollywood10’s new Gallery Diary emerged center stage.

Robert’s idea was simple– invite all the Virtual Improv Party People to a social event at which A.I. Generated art created for the website might be enjoyed on display in an actual art Gallery setting.

Our fictitious narrative brought us first to a storefront in Beverly Hills, where a fictitious guy named Dominic accepted a modest deposit from Robert for use of a derelict hair salon the following weekend. We checked out the space:

Hollywood10 camera crews (okay, a cel phone and improvised tripod) were on the scene when Robert arrived at the address with cleaning supplies…

Undaunted, Robert next travelled to Orange County, where more space was available, and an unlikely venue for the Gallery show presented itself.

The big art opening was scheduled for the first Saturday in November.

But in our fictitious narrative that post-Halloween premiere was never to be.

Apologies to the Virtual Improv Party People who did not read the fine print on our friendly forest green Gallery Diary shield, and actually penciled the opening night onto their calendars. The soggy mess was all virtual, but regrets at some guests missing out on the Big Opening Night were authentic.

Oh, and one more thing…

Exactly a week after Hollywood10’s imaginary gallery showing went up in smoke, the actual massive Hangar Number Two ignited and burned to the ground. Fire crews opted to wait until the 17-story structure collapsed 72 hours later, as seen in these amazing photos from https://newsantaana.com

Now that the Gallery cat is out of the Diary bag, you might think our playful experiment has run its course… but watch this space.

Any final entry in our fictitious Gallery Diary… is still on the drawing board!
